Northern Lakes Community Church is a church family who are learning to love God and also helping others learn to love God.
OUR STRATEGY…
Northern Lakes Community Church will be a multi-generational church family of disciples who are living with God at the center of their lives. They will know God loves and accepts them exactly as He first finds them, but also experience God loves them too much to leave them where He found them. We will use the “base-ball diamond” example as both a guide and assessment tool for expected spiritual growth.
OUR CORE VALUES…
Personal, transformational relationship with Jesus Christ… We believe that men and women are saved by God’s grace through faith in Jesus Christ. Romans 10:9-10, “…if you confess with you mouth, ‘Jesus as Lord’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.”
Authority of the Bible…the Bible’s place in the church and the Bible’s place of authority in our lives… We believe the Bible is God’s Living Word. It is God inspired, reveals God to us, instructs us how we are saved, and guides us in living a godly life daily.
Authentic, Heartfelt Worship…We believe worship is man and woman’s normal and expected response as they meet God. Contemporary worship celebrates God, builds the believer, and speaks to the spiritually seeking.
Being a Missionary to the Community and the World…We believe Jesus commands His followers to “make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and the Son and the Holy Spirit and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you…” Matthew 28:19-20 and “…and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” Acts 1:8 This begins at home, continues to our local community and the world.
Commitment to the Family… We believe family is God’s plan and design for relationships as well as His foundation upon which community is built.
